Wandoo Finance revenue grows by 41% in the H1

results

Wandoo Finance closed the first half of 2026 with revenue of €40 million, compared with €28.4 million in the corresponding period last year.

During the first six months of the year, the company generated EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of €6.4 million. The Group’s loan portfolio increased to €40.4 million, compared with €31.1 million in the corresponding period last year. Net profit amounted to €1.5 million, one-third lower than in the first six months of 2025 due to exchange-rate fluctuations. Meanwhile, profit before foreign-exchange effects reached €2.1 million.

“In the second quarter, we continued to experience exchange-rate fluctuations, which affected our consolidated profit. To mitigate their negative impact, we entered into currency-hedging transactions in Peru and Poland, partially covering our respective risk exposures in each country. While navigating headwinds in the global economy, our lending volumes and portfolio quality gradually improved and, following a slightly slower start to the year, returned to their usual pace. I would particularly highlight the strong results in Romania, where loan issuance increased by 23%. At the same time, we made significant progress in expanding our business by launching installment loans in Lithuania and lending to self-employed individuals and small enterprises in Poland,” says Iveta Bruvele, founder and CEO of Wandoo Finance

Poland remains firmly as the Group’s largest market, accounting for 61% of its total loan portfolio. Due to Romania’s growth, Spain’s share has decreased to 27%, while Romania now represents 12% of the total portfolio.

“The next quarter will bring a number of positive developments. We are in the final due diligence stage of two transactions that could result in the acquisition of licensed non-bank lending companies in Europe and South America. A decision on our next market will be made shortly. We will also continue diversifying the Group’s product portfolio by introducing services based on new concepts and testing our capabilities beyond our traditional consumer-lending business. At the same time, in preparation for our future participation in the capital markets, we are actively working on redomiciling the holding company to Western Europe. This decision has been driven primarily by our future fundraising plans and, secondarily, by geopolitical considerations,” adds I. Brūvele.
