Wandoo Finance closed the first quarter of 2026 with revenue of €19.1 million, up from €14.1 million in the same period last year. Net profit amounted to €0.7 million, one-third lower than in the first three months of 2025, while gross profit increased by 49% and EBITDA remained stable at €3.1 million. Meanwhile, the group’s loan portfolio increased to €40.2 million, compared to €38.2 million at the end of last year.

“The start of the year, following the holiday season, is typically a bit slower in terms of lending and consumer spending. At the same time, the first quarter was marked by global economic uncertainty, as evidenced by the impact of currency fluctuations on our financial results. However, this was not a problem unique to us, as these headwinds were felt by nearly everyone working in consumer lending and raising capital in euros. By the end of the quarter, we were already seeing positive changes, and lending volumes had returned to the projected pace, while the impact of currency fluctuations gradually decreased,” says Iveta Bruvele, founder and CEO at Wandoo Finance.

Poland continues to be the group’s main driver in terms of revenue and profit, while Romania has been posting the fastest proportional growth for several quarters now - lending volumes increased by 35% compared to the previous quarter. In terms of portfolio share, Poland accounts for 61% of the group’s total loan portfolio, followed by Spain with 28% and Romania with 11%.

“A few months ago, we announced that MC Solutions, a company related to Wandoo Finance, had acquired a company with a consumer lending license in Lithuania. We are currently finalizing preparations and will soon begin lending in this market. By the end of the year, we aim to enter two more markets, focusing primarily on Europe and South America, regions we know quite well,” adds I. Bruvele regarding the plans.

At the same time, I. Bruvele reveals that the company is actively working on expanding its existing product portfolio. In the near future, it is planned to launch lending services for small businesses and the self-employed in Poland. In her view, this segment holds great potential not only because of the market's size but also because of the country's economic growth in recent years. Meanwhile, in Spain, work is underway to introduce insurance products into the offering. These will be Wandoo Finance’s first products outside of traditional consumer loans for individuals.
